Percy and his friends arrive to the underworld were they find out Hades does not have the MasterBolt and wrst his power symbol the helm of darkness is missing. Hades acusses Percy of steeling both the MasterBolt and the Helm Of Darkness. Hades says that Poseidon is hungry for power and when things can get possibly worst the MasterBolt appears magicly in his backpack, Percy and his friends mannage to escape when Hades explodes on wrath, after that they encounter Ares on Santa Monica Beach. Percy then discovers that Ares stole the MasterBolt and Helm Of Darkness from the unknown original thieft. Also Ares was trying to unleash the biggest war of all time between the big 3 Zeus Hades and Poseidon, also Percy battles Ares winning The helm.

Quote Analysis

It was an army of wind-up creepy-crawlies: bronze-gear bodies, spindly legs, little pincer mouths, all scuttling toward us in a wave of clacking, whirring metal. "Spiders!" Annabeth said. "Sp-sp-aaaah!"

I choose this quote because in the highlight phrase there is an onnomatopeya and it is a bit strange to find them in this book. The author uses onnomatopeya to describe and situation with annabeth and some type of riddle according to what I understand.
"I should've told you the truth from the beginning." His voice trembled. "I thought if you knew what a failure I was, you wouldn't want me along." Pg 256 
In this part grover tells the truth about when he try to rescue Talia but he fail, so he didnt tell the thruth from the begening because of his fear of being the satyr who fail. Also in this quote the author makes a conversation on 1 phrase and thats very good.

Thoughts and Conclutions

I personaly like these parts of the book but not so much as the others (last blog for more) Also this chapters I earn more about gods and there power symbols, for examplle Zeus gots the thunderboltt, Hades the helm, Poseidon the trident, ares the bronze spear. But thats not all also in the greek mythology there are pets for the gods such as the peacock of Era and mot famous Hades tree headed dog the cancerberus. Unfortunely this books touch more the theme of ower symbols. I liked this chapters and I love the part when they question Ares and discover he is the 2nd thief. Also this chapters talk more about legends such as Talia the daughter of zeus who dided and also that a styr ffail on rescue her.

Percy Jackson stars a task to get back Zeus MasterBolt

 wich he thinks it might be under Hades power on the underworld. But Percy was not alone, his best friend Grover and a demigod name Annabeth wich is daughter of Athena.

 The took a lot of transort and in the way have to battle brutal monster such as Medusa, 

the Gatway Arch, and they almost lose therre mind on las Vegas

 and nearly die. Throught all mighty challenges 

they make there way from New York to Los Angeles were the gate 

of the undeerworld is located in the sign of Hollywood.

Quote Analysis

"How are we going to get into the Underworld?" I asked him. "I mean, what chance do we have against a god?" Pg 199- Chapter 12

In this quote we can see that the 3 friends are taling about some deatail in a mission. But something is wrong, they dont have a plan to battle the god of death. In this phrase the author makes a flash foward that they might be screwd, also I felt that they act very irrsponsable by making a trip to the land of the death to face the god of death without a plan it is very similar to one event that happen to me when my soccer ball went down the cliff and I without thinking just try to go down to get it but almost fall.

"I know. But if we've misunderstood something about this quest, and we only have nine days to find the master bolt...."  Pg 200- Chapter 12

Again Percy an his friends dont learn, this time they failed badly because they are in risk o not getting on time because of irresponsable plannification. Also here the author trys to show to the reader they are in a bit of trouble. Also here I got a connection that always happens to me, when my teachers send me homework I always misunderstood the due day,

Conclusions and Ideas

Specially I like a lot this chapters it was fun because of the fights 
against mythicall creaurtures. I specially like the part of the hotel in Las Vegas because of they being sort of Hypnoties. I also think that during this chapters 
this trio failed on planning the visit to the underworld.
 But I also liked that they solved and sort of save
 there lifes by lmost nearly die

Half Humam Half God, What?

A 12 year old kid Tells a story of the past year. He learns that he is half blood, meaning he is half god and half human or demigod and he is taken to the Camp Half-Blood in New York, a camp for just kids like him that is safe of monsters that are dangerous to half bloods. In the camp percy learns that his father is not any normall creature is Poseidon the god of water and seas, and of course also brother of Hades the god of death and the underworlld rulr  and Zeus The king of all gods and of thunder. But The mighty wepon of Zeus The Masterrbolt  is stolen Poseidon is blamed for it, Zeus tells Poseidon that the MasterBolt must be return To Mount Olympus By the summer solstice or Else war would be declered unleshing chaos on earth.

This quote shows the importance of the term demigod. 

In this quote annabeth explains the term demi god wich is half blood. 

meaning that the half blood is son of a god and a mortal woman,

 or a goddess and a mortal human. Also I  infere that maybe the half-bloods might see the term

 "half-blood" offnsive or despective. And a connecttion is that
 I used to have a frind that say black people but our teacher said afroamerican

Thoughts & Conclusions

During my reading Ive explore the begenings of 

Percy Jackson story also in this book about myths creatures such as gods, 

the simple fact that this book contains so many small details

 but tell you whole story. 

I strongly recomend this book for people who like adventure, 

humanities, and specially mythologhy (greek) seriously read it you will be attach to it.
